Living National Treasure

Miwa Kyusetsu X1 (1910-2012) is a legend in the modern ceramic world from one of the most important potting families in Japan and was named a Living National Treasure for his Hagi ware.

Miwa Kyusetsu X1 ceramics are held in the Metropolitan Museum of New York amongst other leading museums.
